Most health-sharing programs are faith communities with waiting periods and exclusions. We are a tribal health trust — a structurally different instrument, with structurally different economics.
Kindwell One operates under tribal law, not religious doctrine. Membership is open to anyone who believes in shared responsibility — not shared creed.
No general waiting period. Pre-existing conditions are eligible from enrollment at a risk-tiered contribution — not excluded, not delayed, not punished.
Through 638 contracting and 340B pricing, Kindwell One accesses pharmacy and services at tribal rates. The savings pass to members as lower contributions and broader coverage.
A health insurance company profits when it pays fewer claims. Its interests and yours are fundamentally misaligned. Every denial is a margin.
A health trust has no such conflict. Contributions from members pool together and flow back out as shared care. There are no shareholders waiting to be paid. There is no actuarial incentive to delay, deny, or discourage.

Neither Kindwell One nor its members guarantee or promise that medical requests will be shared or paid by the membership. Members are always personally responsible for the payment of their own medical bills.
